DEMU Showcase 2020

DEMU Showcase is the premier UK exhibition dedicated to diesel and electric modelling and will be on the weekend of 6/7 June 2020.

Opening Times

Saturday 6th June 2019 10.00 - 17.00
Sunday 7th June 2019 10.00 - 16.00

We will return this year for a second year to Greenbank Leisure Centre in Swadlincote, a short distance away from Burton on Trent. This gives us a larger, more accessible venue than Burton Town Hall with on-site parking and still in a central England location.

Tickets

All tickets are valid for the whole weekend to allow you enough time to see all the exhibits.

Ticket prices are:

• Adults £10
• DEMU members / children (U16) £6
• Families (2 adults and unlimited children) £24

Transport

Greenbank leisure centre is a short 20 minute bus ride from the nearest railway station in Burton-upon-Trent.

New Bus Service

There is a new bus service (Number 9) that runs every hour (including on Sundays) from Burton Station to Swadlincote. This bus also runs all the way to East Midlands Airport (just in case anyone fancies flying to Showcase!). For more information, please see the Midland Classic website: here.

This now means that travellers to Showcase from Burton station have a number of options for buses this year:

Saturday Bus Number 3 (hourly), 8 (twice hourly) or 9 (hourly) from Burton Station

Sunday Bus Number 9 (hourly) from Burton Station
